SH2-112 is an emission nebula in the constellation Cygnus, located in proximity of the bright star Deneb. The circular nebula lies in a distance of about 5000 light-years. The nebular is exited to glow by a bright star with the nebula which is 30 times brighter than our sun. It is that bright that it is emitting light mainly in the ultra-violet range. |
